Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and relationship driven Account Manager with a IT technical background to join our growing sales team. You will be the champion for our existing customers, responsible for nurturing your own book of business and ensuring clients get the maximum value from our cloud solutions. Working closely with our sales team and CEO, you will play a key role in driving customer success, retention, and growth via upsell and cross-sell.
What You'll Do
- Nurture Relationships: Build and maintain excellent relationships across a dedicated portfolio of customers, acting as their primary point of contact for renewals and account health.
- Drive Growth: Proactively identify and pursue upsell opportunities, educating clients on new Google Cloud products and Damson Cloud services that solve their business needs.
- Plan Strategically: Develop strategic account plans and compelling proposals, working collaboratively with colleagues to meet customer objectives and sales targets.
- Execute Campaigns: Support targeted outreach and marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, satisfaction, and new opportunities.
- Manage Administration: Maintain accurate customer data and sales activities in our CRM system and provide key analysis to support sales strategy.
Key Skills
- Experience: 3+ years in an Account Management or IT/SaaS sales role.
- Technical Understanding: A solid grasp of cloud computing concepts (ideally Google Workspace or similar SaaS products) and the ability to explain them clearly.
- Sales Acumen: Proven skills in sales, presentation, and building lasting client relationships.
- Proactive Mindset: Highly motivated and organised, with a proactive approach to managing your own workload and meeting targets.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience working with CRM systems to manage pipelines and customer data.
